"Stuff" About

This song reflects my feelings about America, the GREATEST country in the
world!! You may have to click the icon to hear it.
God Bless the USA
I was born in Muskegon, Michigan, and
moved South when I was in the third grade. I attended school
in Michigan, Ohio, Louisiana, and Mississippi. My education
and outlook was most influenced by school systems in Louisiana
and Mississippi.
I graduated
from Pearl River Central High School, Carriere, Mississippi,
in 1963 and received a degree in Chemistry from the University of
Southern Mississippi in 1967. At that time I was commissioned
as an officer in the US Army Military Intelligence branch.
I served in the Army until 1976 with tours of duty in many
stations in the U.S. and overseas in Vietnam and Okinawa,
Japan.

I was
married in 1967 and have three children and eight fantastic
grandchildren.
In
1994 I received a second degree from the University of Southern
Mississippi in Mathematics.
My proudest achievements professionally
have occurred during my years of service to my country in
the U.S.
Army and my years thus far in the school system.
Here
is a link to music from the "olden" days when we had to
walk five miles to school, barefoot, and without a jacket,
regardless of weather!! Some of my favorites
from high school and college.
